MANDAPS
The mandap is a place where important ceremonials take place. The mandap is a canopy structure which is usually supported by four pillars, although there are six pillars and even eight pillar mandaps. These four pillars signify the parents of the bride and groom who have been the strength and support over the years and also implies that they will continue to be so. Furthermore, the canopy also represents the union of two souls being together forever.

Mandaps come in a huge variety of different styles, shapes, colours and finishes and, importantly, qualities. Decoration of the mandap is also very important - We use silk drapes, luxury silk or fresh flowers for decoration, lights and an array of wonderful colours to create stunning visual effects.
Whatever your design concept, we will turn it into reality. If you would like us to create a bespoke mandap for your special occasion, then please bear in mind that there will be a lead time of around 6-8 weeks for us to produce this, so please discuss this with your RAAJ consultant well in advance of your wedding.
